This Thursday, June 25 at 7 P.M., famed winemaker Cyril Chappellet of Chapellet wines will be joining Gary's Wine and Marketplace for a special three-course dinner paired with some of his signature wines. Can't make it? Well you're in luck! If you happen to be near our Wayne location between 3 and 5PM, come in and join us for A Taste of Pritchard Hill with Cyril. He'll be pouring his Chardonnay, Cabernet, and Mountain Cuvee (Cab/Merlot blend) and telling us all about his Pritchard Hill appellation in Napa Valley.

Wine Dinner with Cyril Chappellet at the Pluckemin Inn Thursday, June 25th at 7 P.M.

Gary's Wine & Marketplace invites you to join us at the Pluckemin Inn in Bedminster, NJ on Thursday, June 25 at 7 P.M. We have invited Cyril Chappellet of Chappellet Wines to join us for a three-course dinner paired with four of his signature wines.

The Chappellet family has been crafting world class wines from their Pritchard Hill estate vineyards since 1967. Spurred by the notion that Bacchus loves the hills and that mountain fruit would make superior wine, Chappellet followed the advice of legendary winemaker Andre Tchelistcheff and settled on the rocky eastern slopes of the Napa Valley. The Chappellets were the first to plant vineyards exclusively on high elevation hillsides and the second winerey to be established in the Napa Valley after Prohibition.

The featured wines will be:

-Chappellet Chardonnay Napa 2007

-Chappellet Mountain Cuvee 2006

-Chappellet Cabernet Sauvignon Signature 2006

-Chappellet Cabernet Sauvignon Pritchard Hill 2006

2005 Duckhorn Migration Pinot Noir

This medium-bodied wine has bright fruit complemented by ripe and broad tannins that provide great balance and a lengthy finish. The aroma features blueberry, plum, strawberry pie, and toasted oak. The flavors are focused and follow through with ripe strawberry, plum, and cherry, complemented by clove. A lighter style than our Goldeneye, this wine shows the range and suppleness of the Pinot Noir varietal.
