Microbrew Monday: Falling Brews

This week's Microbrew Monday selections are from Saranac's "12 Beers A Falling," which features six different brews including a couple of seasonal selections. Stop into any one of our three locations this Monday September 12th from 5-7PM to sample any four of these craft beers.

  • Saranac Irish Red- Deep garnet in color, Saranac Irish Red offers notes of caramel and toffee.
  • Saranac IPA- This medium bodied India Pale Ale has an earthy, bitter taste and a dark gold coloring.
  • Saranac Black Forest- This Bavarian black beer has caramel malt sweetness and pours a rich, creamy head.
  • Saranac Pumpkin Ale- This seasonal ale has a full body, amber color and is brewed with pumpkin, cinnamon, allspice, cloves, ginger, and vanilla.
  • Saranac Octoberfest- Slowly brewed, like the traditional Oktoberfest beers in Munich; this lager has a medium body and rich taste balanced by using two different malts.
  • Saranac Caramel Porter- This robust, flavorful porter is brewed with a combination of malts resulting in a smooth, slightly bitter flavor with hints of caramel.
