May 16th Wine Tasting at Gary's Wine & Marketplace

Come on Out for a Taste or Two

Hey, have you noticed the sun’s out? Oh no wait, there it goes. Wait, wait, there it is again! Oh… gone again. Well, the sun is certainly trying to come out, so we can only oblige in joining it, right? Come on out and join us for on one of our weekend in-store tastings or upcoming sponsored events, and help us WILL summer to be upon us.

Saturday Wine Tasting at Gary's of Bernardsville, 12-4 pm

Vieux Papes Blanc - A floral bouquet marks this soft, fruity white from France.

2008 Arona Sauvignon Blanc, New Zealand: A fresh, mineral-laden wine from the Marlborough region with notes of passion fruit and pineapple.

2005 Chateau Colin de Pey Premieres Cotes de Bordeaux, France: From the wonderful '05 vintage - A dark (yes there's some Malbec in there), earthy wine with dark ripe fruit.

2005 Chateau Roudier Montagne-Saint-Emilion, France: Another beauty from the 2005 vintage. This is soft, rich, with red and black fruit with a wonderful finish.

Saturday Wine Tasting at Gary's of Wayne, 12-4 pm

2005 Alpha Omega Chardonay, Napa Valley: A creamy, not too oaky/not too light Chardonnay with notes of tangy peach and citrus.

2007 Chateau Valcombe Rose, Cotes du Ventoux: Based on Cinsault with a little Grenache and Counoise playing supporting roles, this Rose is a very pale pink with a pretty floral bouquet, mineral backbone, and a dry finish.

2007 Casillero del Diablo Carmenere, Chile: One of our best buys in Carmenere from a recent run of consumer reports articles, this carries luscious dark plums, chocolate, coffee, and hints of spicy from the toasty American oak.

2005 Chateau Colin Colin de Pey Premieres Cotes de Bordeaux: From the wonderful '05 vintage - A dark (yes there's some Malbec in there), earthy wine with dark ripe fruit.
