Microbrew Monday: Introducing Spoetzl Brewery to New Jersey!
This week's Microbrew Monday selections will include a lineup of Shiner beers. The Spoetzl Brewery of Texas—famous for their Shiner Bock, has an entire lineup that has just arrived on our Jersey shores. Stop into any one of our three locations this Monday June 27th from 5–7PM to sample any four of these delicious craft beers.
- Shiner Bock- Deep amber in color with a distinctive rich flavor and full body, Shiner Bock has a mellow taste with no bitter aftertaste.
- Shiner Blonde- This golden lager carries a distinctive flavor followed by a satisfying, smooth finish.
- Shiner Bohemian Black Lager- Crafted with imported Czech Saaz, Styrians Hops and roasted malts, this is the darkest beer brewed by Spoetzl.
- Shiner Hefeweizen- Hefeweizen recalls the classic beers of Bavaria as a true unfiltered wheat brew, capturing old-world Munich Malt, orange and lemon zest.
- Shiner Ruby Redbird- Brewed with genuine Texas Rio Red Grapefruit and ginger, this lager begins with a bit of tartness and finishes with a kick of ginger.

Hendrick's Gin Tasting in Madison
Our Madison store will be hosting a Hendrick's Gin tasting, Friday June 24th from 5-8PM. Stop in to sample a taste of this unique gin. This small batch gin is distilled 450 liters at a time, giving distillers greater control over the process. Marrying spirits from the Bennet Still and the Carter-Head Still, the combination creates a smooth taste that is infused with rose petals and cucumber.

Microbrew Monday Tasting: A Rogue Tribute
This Microbrew Monday all three Gary's Wine & Marketplace locations will be sampling beers from the Rogue Brewing Company (Oregon). Stop into any one of our three locations on Monday June 13th from 5-7PM to sample up to four of these very unique brews:
- American Amber Ale - Tawny in color, with a coffee aroma, tight head and a delicate roasted malt accent this ale features a generous use of hops with a smooth finish.
- Hazelnut Brown Nectar - A twist on a traditional European Brown Ale this brew embodies a dark brown color with a hazelnut aroma, a rich nutty flavor and a smooth malty finish.
- Captain Sig's Northwestern Ale - Deep red in color, this ale starts off with a floral, slightly citrus hop nose, fading into the malty backbone of this red ale.
- Somer Orange Honey Ale - JUST released, this unfiltered summer beer has flavors of orange and honey with a nice medium-sweet malt character.
- Dead Guy Ale - Rogue's signature beer, a German Maibock, has a deep honey color, a malty aroma and a rich hearty flavor.
- Chocolate Stout - Ebony in color with a rich creamy head. The mellow flavor of oats, chocolate malts and real chocolate are balanced perfectly with the right amount of hops for a bitter-sweet finish.

- Abita Purple Haze- This crisp, American style wheat beer has raspberry puree that is added after filtration providing a subtle purple coloration, a fruity aroma, and a tartly sweet taste.
- Shiner 102 Double Wheat- A cross between a wheat beer and wheat wine this American filtered double is a lighter style with a hoppy aroma.
- Yards Brawler- An English session ale that boasts of superior taste and champion flavor with a vibrant ruby color.

A Tasting for The Misanthrope
This June, a continent away and exactly 345 years to the day after it premiered at the Theatre du Palais-Royal in Paris, The Shakespeare Company of New Jersey opens its production of Moliere’s The Misanthrope at the F.M. Kirby Shakespeare Theater in Madison.
To celebrate that achievement along with our thespian friends, Gary’s Wine & Marketplace will dedicate its Saturday tasting on opening week to The Misanthrope through the great wines of France.
