Gary's Wine & Marketplace's Annual Grand Tasting on October 26, 2009 at the Madison Hotel in Morristown, NJ

An event you don't want to miss!

Gary's Wine & Marketplace's Grand Tasting is our biggest wine tasting event of the year and all the proceeds go to charity! This year's recipients include Gagnon Cardiovascular Institute at Morristown Memorial and the Interfaith Food Pantry.

This year's we're featuring over 500 wines, spirits, beer, a buffet, gourmet cheeses, and special "Spotlight Tables" in the Victorian Room!

In lieu of VIP seminars and colloquiums, this year we decided to let the wines do the talking and to let everyone in on the fun! With that in mind, the 2009 Grand Tasting will feature an entire room dedicated to wines from the finest vintages of the past decade and the critically acclaimed regions that produced them. Arrive early to experience the crème de la crème of the 21st century thus far, including:

• 2004 Brunello di Montalcino - Vintage Score: 97 points! A year "which produced wonderfully perfumed, majestically refined Brunellos with an excellent balance of fruit and superior tannins" - James Suckling, Wine Spectator


• 2005 Bordeaux - Vintage Score: 95-100 points! "One thing I am sure of after twenty-eight years of tasting Bordeaux wines every March is that 2005 cannot be compared to any previous vintage in my experience" - Robert Parker, Wine Advocate

Meet NY Football Giants Alum Joe Morris at Gary's Wine & Marketplace of Wayne this Saturday!

Football season is upon us, and we can't think of any better way to celebrate than by hosting a GIANT celebration in our Wayne store.

This Saturday, Joe Morris (key member of the Giants team that won Super Bowl XXI in 1987) will join us from 2-4pm to meet the fans and sign some autographs, while we give away Giants glassware and raffle off some great prizes.

Will the Bud girls be there too? You betcha! .... And here's a last minute addition from our friends at Anheuser Busch; we will be giving away an authentic Antonio Pierce autographed jersey!

Spend a September evening sampling spectacular wines of the Mediterranean, including vineyards from France, Italy and Spain, all carefully selected by Gary’s Wine and Marketplace of Madison.

If you love wines, you don’t want to miss this very special event which will feature a large variety of fabulous wines and no one knows this region better than Gary’s Wine!

There will be cheeses and other foods of the region provided by Divine Catering of Madison and live classical music by the Moonlight Duo.

All proceeds will support the New Philharmonic of New Jersey.

Tickets are only $55 in advance and $60 at the door.
